Midsummer Night's Fiesta

A few weeks ago, I had the honor of shooting the Schupmann wedding. Stacy and Kerensa got married just after the ban on gay marriage was lifted and before Prop 8 was passed. Thus, theirs is one of 18,000 same-sex marriages that will continue to be acknowledged by the State. The wedding day was beautiful, with all kinds of unique touches: the wedding party's shirts forming a rainbow, the ring-bearer being their cute-as-all-get-out dog Buddy, the nameplates! The whole event was full of color, joy, love... and a little Shakespeare. Below are some beautiful moments.

Kerensa, sporting her rock!

An intimate moment during the couple's first dance.

I really do love this shot... available light with a little flare, taken towards the end of the night. Someone commented that it looks like a still from an old WB show, which was really flattering considering that I'm trying to get more cinematographic with my photography.
