Yesterday, I had the privilege of shooting a wedding at a Livermore winery with my friend and mentor, Craig Smith. It was an unusual situation for me because it was a very lengthy wedding ceremony, but we (the photographers) were contracted for a very limited amount of time. So, there was some scurrying to get through the usual things -- first dances, bouquet toss, garter toss, etc. However, I had fun and learned a lot.
For example, I learned again how much I love prime lenses. My 50mm f/1.4 is just awesome! I'm thinking of investing in the 24mm f/1.4... although that's a BIG investment to consider!
In any case, here are some of my favorite images of the day.
